John G. Steinkamp received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1974, his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1977, and his Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver College of Law in 1984. He was a Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law from 1990-2001, where he taught courses in decedents’ estates, estate planning, estate and gift taxation, estate and trust income taxation, individual income taxation, and tax policy. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and related tax matters. John is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Order of the Coif. He is listed in The Best Lawyers of America for his work in the Trusts and Estates area and is a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney.
Mark J. Sather received his undergraduate degree from Augustana College in 1979, and his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1982. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a corporate and securities transactional attorney. His current practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, tax-exempt organizations and business law. Mark has served as co-chair of the Tax, Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Boulder County Bar Association and currently serves on the Legal Committee of the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County.
Eric V. Love received his undergraduate degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas. Eric is also a CPA and worked for Deloitte & Touche for two years as an auditor. Eric received his law degree from the University of Kansas before joining the firm in 1994. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration and business law. Eric has served on the boards of directors of the Colorado Music Festival and Downtown Boulder, Inc. and Imagine!
Jonathan A. Lehmann received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2000, and his law degree from Florida State University in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lehmann worked for a mid-sized Boulder law firm. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business law, conservatorships and guardianships, residential real estate and tax-exempt organizations. Jonathan is a member of Social Venture Partners of Boulder County and the Boulder Estate Planning Council. He is also a founder of the Boulder Business Leader Group.
Walter W. Kingsbery is of counsel to the firm. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Texas A&M in 1975, and his law degree from Harvard University in 1979.
