John G. Steinkamp received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1974, his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1977, and his Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver College of Law in 1984. He was a Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law from 1990-2001, where he taught courses in decedents’ estates, estate planning, estate and gift taxation, estate and trust income taxation, individual income taxation, and tax policy. His practice focuses on estate planning and estate and trust administration. John is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Order of the Coif.
Walter W. Kingsbery received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Texas A&M in 1975, and his law degree from Harvard University in 1979. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration and tax-exempt organizations. Walter currently serves on the board of directors of the International Mountain Explorers Connection and has previously chaired the boards of directors of Imagine! and Global Response.
Mark J. Sather received his undergraduate degree from Augustana College in 1979, and his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1982. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a corporate and securities transactional attorney. His current practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, tax-exempt organizations and business law. Mark has served as co-chair of the Tax, Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Boulder County Bar Association and currently serves on the board of trustees of the Denver Parks and Recreation Foundation, Inc. (The Park People).
Eric V. Love received his undergraduate degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas. Eric is also a CPA and worked for Deloitte & Touche for two years as an auditor. Eric received his law degree from the University of Kansas before joining the firm in 1994. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration and business law. Eric is on the boards of directors of the Colorado Music Festival and Downtown Boulder, Inc., Boulder Improvement District, and Imagine! Foundation. He lives in Erie with his wife, Jennifer, and son, Joshua.
Winthrop (Win) D. Johnson received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Colorado in 1970, and his law degree (with honors) from George Washington University in 1973. Win is a former president of the Boulder County Bar Association and Boulder County Hospice and has served on the board of governors of the Colorado Bar Association. He was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Colorado School of Law from 1984 to 1989, and is admitted to practice law in New York as well as Colorado. Win’s practice focuses on estate planning and estate and trust administration.
